Ingredients
- 8 oz [224 g] Ground Turkey
- 0.5 tbsp [7 g] Olive Oil
- 7 oz [199.99 g] Black Beans (Canned) (Rinsed and Drained)
- 0.5 can (28oz) [397 g] Diced Canned Tomatoes
- 0.5 medium [59.5 g] Green Bell Pepper (Sliced or diced)
- 0.5 medium [57 g] Red Bell Pepper
- 0.5 tbsp [3.75 g] Chili Powder
- 0.5 tsp [1.05 g] Cumin
- 0.5 tsp [0.6 g] Kosher Salt
- 1 dash [0.63 ml] Black Pepper (To taste)
- 0.5 cup [115 g] Sour Cream (Garnish)
Directions
- 1.Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- 2.Add ground turkey and cook until browned and fully cooked through. Stir in bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook 3–4 minutes until the peppers soften slightly.
- 3.Add black beans and diced tomatoes. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- 4.Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chili thickens and flavors blend.
- 5.Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- 6.Serve warm, topped with sour cream, if desired.
